“Caveau du Vigneron, Turkheim”

What drew me to this scene was not only the beauty of the color combinations of this house and its shutters and the half-timbers, but also the way the light was just catching some edges and bouncing into the shadows on the white building to the right. This painting is a favorite also because I associate the day I discovered the scene, which was one of those magical travel days. Turkheim is a town in Alsace.
