“Gordon”

I was lucky to have the delightful company of a compatible, locally-living fellow artist this day, an Englishwoman named Tessa. Having hiked above Gordon, we painted in a stiff wind under rapidly moving cloud cover that created exciting effects, letting through rays of light and alternately lighting up various parts of the landscape. My desire in this painting was to capture those fleeting effects.
